Cranford Schools Join National Walk and Bike Day

Cranford schools will participate in National Walk and Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. This initiative encourages students to walk or bike to school, which can promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles. It also aims to help reduce traffic congestion and local air pollution.
The Township of Cranford is focusing on pedestrian safety improvements, especially on routes frequently traveled by children. Local PTAs have been instrumental in organizing and promoting this event in the community.
Mayor Brian Andrews advises everyone to exercise caution on the roads, especially on October 2 and throughout the school year, as students commute to and from school.
