Tony Roberts Retires After 27 Years of Service

Officer Anthony “Tony” Roberts retired from the Columbus Division of Police on October 2, 2024, after serving for 27 years. He was hired on December 29, 1996, as part of the 96th recruit class.
During his career, Officer Roberts worked in various patrol assignments and served as a Domestic Violence Detective. For the last five years, he was a member of the Mobile Crisis Response Unit, where he assisted individuals in mental crisis.
The Columbus Division of Police acknowledged Officer Roberts' contributions and expressed gratitude for his hard work and dedication. They wished him well as he moves on to the next chapter of his life.
