Cornell University reports that tonight, alumni from around the world will celebrate Zinck's Night in honor of Theodore Zinck, the legendary Ithaca barkeep. This event, held on the third Thursday in October, sees about 4,000 alumni gathering for a Big Red happy hour in roughly 100 bars, restaurants, and pubs. Celebrations are taking place in dozens of cities across the United States as well as internationally. Participants enjoy trivia, door prizes, Big Red songs, and reminiscences of their time on East Hill.
