Cornell University announced the creation of the Cornell CALS Ashley School of Global Development and the Environment. The new school will combine the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment with the Department of Global Development. It is named in honor of Stephen Ashley ’62, MBA ’64, whose generous gift is the largest endowment in the history of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The announcement was made at Cornell University in Ithaca.
