A line of light rain showers is expected to move into western New York later tonight as a cold front approaches from the west. According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, the rain will begin this evening and will gradually decrease from west to east throughout the day on Wednesday. By midday, areas from the Genesee Valley westward are expected to be dry.

Tonight's low temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s. Wednesday will be cooler, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to mid 60s. The forecast is valid from Tuesday at 8 PM to Wednesday at 6 AM EDT.
