According to the update provided on October 5, 2024, at 12:38 AM CDT, dry and fair weather is expected to continue through Saturday. Temperatures will remain above normal, reaching the upper 60s to mid-70s. However, a strong cold front is anticipated to move across the region Sunday afternoon into the evening, bringing thunderstorms with it. Some of these storms may become strong to severe, potentially producing gusty winds and hail.
