Ken Dryden ’69, a former Cornell hockey star and NHL icon, has died at age 78. Dryden was a key player in Cornell's storied hockey history, earning 76 wins and helping secure the 1967 NCAA title. He later achieved further success in his professional career, winning six Stanley Cups with the Montreal Canadiens. Dryden’s contributions to the sport as a student-athlete and leader have left a lasting impact at Cornell and beyond.
