Fatal shooting in Myrtle Beach, suspect charged with murder.

A shooting incident occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024, around 10:49 p.m. at the 2300-Block of North Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Sadly, one male victim did not survive the injuries.

The suspect, Anthony Maurice Garner, 44, from Albemarle, NC, was involved in a verbal altercation with an associate of the victim, resulting from a road rage incident. Garner fired his weapon during the altercation, fatally striking the victim.

Garner has been charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. The Myrtle Beach Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact them at 843-918-1382, referencing case number 24-009577.
