7th-grade students from Cielo Vista Charter School visited the Palm Springs Homeless Navigation Center to learn about its construction and purpose. The visit was hosted by representatives from Martha's Village and Kitchen, Tilden-Coil Constructors, JFAK Architects, Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein, and Palm Springs Councilmember Grace Garner. The students discussed the services offered and the importance of community care in helping individuals transition from homelessness to long-term shelter. They also brought essential supplies and asked thoughtful questions, showing compassion in action. The visit emphasized the city's commitment to making a difference for all citizens.
