**Cornell University Receives $10.5 Million Gift to Boost AI Research**

ITHACA, NY—Cornell University has announced a transformative gift aimed at advancing research in artificial intelligence. Philanthropist Tom Secunda, co-founder of Bloomberg L.P., has donated $10.5 million to support AI-related research initiatives at the university.

The five-year contribution will specifically aid work at Cornell Tech, located in New York City, and the Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science in Ithaca. This funding is expected to enhance the university's efforts in exploring key areas of artificial intelligence and computing.
