Cornell University students have completed more than eight years of work on their Alpha CubeSat, a cube-shaped spacecraft featuring the world’s first retroreflective, solo-flying light sail. The team is now heading to Houston for final preparations before the spacecraft’s launch this summer. The mission's next phase will take the Alpha CubeSat to the International Space Station. The project is a collaboration between Cornell Engineering and Cornell University.
